Casino Party Ideas
By AngeloThere’s nothing better than having a night of fun with your friends at a black-tie party, sipping champagne while socializing with people you haven’t talked to in a long time. With an elegant aura and delicious finger foods, you’ll certainly feel very comfy. Even so, you have to admit that black-tie events can become a drag after some time.

Here are several useful tips that you should remember when you hold a casino theme party.
Red, Black and Green: Casino Decorations
When you’re holding a casino theme party, decoration plays an important part so that your guests will feel that they’re inside a real casino. Put up fake cards, chips and money to create this illusion. You should also use red, green and black colors, since these are the most apparent colors seen in casinos. Then, turn down the lights and put up strings of twinkling lights everywhere.

Dressing the Part: The Casino Dress Code
You can’t go into a casino if you’re not wearing fancy clothing, so you should ask your guests to come wearing their best and most elegant evening attire. The men should wear tuxedo or suits while the women should don their best evening gowns or cocktail dresses. Make sure you inform your guests of this dress code by mentioning it in the invitations, so that they’ll come well prepared.
Playtime for Adults: Casino Activities
Casino parties center on gambling, so you should set up different games that your guests can enjoy. Poker, blackjack, roulette, craps and big six wheel are popular examples. You should also set up attendants and dealers to assist your guests while making their deal.
Satisfying Their Tummies: Casino Food and Drinks
Although the center of casino parties is on gambling, this doesn’t mean that your guests won’t need to eat. Of course your food will need to match the classy and elegant aura of your theme. Serve dishes such as crab and artichoke dip, Swedish meatballs, tomato bruschetta and spicy chicken nachos with corn salsa. As for the drinks, cocktails should be provided, but make sure you also serve non-alcoholic drinks for guests that don’t like drinking.
For a fun night of entertainment and gambling, a casino theme is the best option that you should consider. Try it out, and see your guests enjoy themselves throughout the party. Good luck!

Wow, a casino-themed party sounds great but wouldn’t it be expensive? the pictures seem to make it so. Plus, you have to make up great props and stuff. I guess this theme is great for the high-rollers out there!

The last time I threw a casino-themed party, people became drunk, egos were bruised and I really felt like I was in Las Vegas. Of course, we were all friends so there really wasn’t anything serious that happened.

Hey, this sounds really cool! I only know a few card games, so I may have to ask my other friends for their suggestions. If we make this a house party though, I wonder if anyone can stay sober enough to play any gambling game. I bet everyone will just drown themselves in beer like always.
