Hannah Montana Party Ideas

Hannah Montana Invites You...
Send out invitations in the shape of guitars, microphones or stars, decorated with lots of glitter and pictures of Hannah Montana to invite your daughter’s friends. Ask them to come in their best Hannah Montana clothes and to be ready to have some fun!
Another fun invitation idea is to dress up the birthday celebrant as Hannah Montana herself. Take a picture and have it printed to look like the show’s title card. You can even make it look like a concert ticket.
When the guests arrive, have them choose a “rockstar” name the same way Miley Stewart chose Hannah Montana as a stage name. Have their “stage name” worn as their nametags all throughout the party and be sure to call them by that.
Decorate for a Rocking Party

To set up your space to look like a rocking concert, set up a platform to serve as a stage for all your aspiring little singers, but make sure it’s not so high up. A stage isn’t complete without microphones, stage lights, a disco ball, a karaoke machine and even stage lights. The microphones don’t have to be real ones, you can buy play microphones from your nearest toy store or make them yourself. Set up banners greeting your little one a happy birthday, making it extra colorful by adding streamers, balloons and Hannah Montana posters. You can also put up tin foil stars for a starry, magical effect. If you’re holding the party outdoors, string Christmas lights all over for the same effect.
If you want to have a “Miley Stewart” theme to go along with your Hannah Montana, here’s how: Miley Stewart can usually be found in normal settings such as her living room, her classroom, or the beach. You can set up the tables to look like a classroom facing a blackboard, a teacher’s desk, with maps, globes, and other educational tools as decoration. You can have a Hannah Montana concert DVD playing on a projected screen while the kids eat.
Given the popularity of this show, most party supply shops carry Hannah Montana cups, paper plates and other related items. You can even get pre-made Hannah Montana invitations.
Of course, none of these would be complete without Hannah Montana’s songs! Play her most upbeat tunes mixed in with songs from other Disney stars.
Get the Best of Both Worlds
What separates a Hannah Montana party from all others? It gives everyone a chance to be Hannah Montana for a day! Plan fun activities for the birthday girl and her friends.

For the boys, you can supply gel, temporary tattoos, jackets and scarves to dress up like the other male characters in Hannah Montana such as Jackson, Mike Standley, Rico and even Robby Stewart.
Hannah Montana Sing-Off. Put your stage and the kids’ singing skills put to good use by having a Hannah Montana sing off. You can let them sing as one whole group or group them into two big groups for them to perform against each other. Load the most popular Hannah Montana songs in your karaoke machine and let the kids sing away. You can give prizes for the best and most enthusiastic among the group, and consolation prizes for everyone else who participated.

Play Wii. Having a Nintendo Wii is a fun way to play-act as Hannah Montana. With Hannah Montana World Spotlight Tour, you and Hannah’s friends Lilly, Oliver and Robbie, can help Hannah overcome musical challenges and tour the world.
Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero is a popular game that really makes anyone a rockstar.
Party Games with a Montana Twist. Trip to Jerusalem, musical chairs, newspaper dance…play all these fun party games using Hannah Montana songs. Play hot potato using a microphone with the Hannah Montana soundtrack playing in the background. “Pin the tail on the donkey” can be turned into “Pin the microphone on Hannah Montana”.

Hit the Piñata. No concert is complete without a little guitar-bashing. Get a piñata from your party supplies shop and fill it with goodies. (Learn how to make a pinata)
Watch Hannah in Action. You can set up your television to play episodes of the Hannah Montana show and arrange bean bags to allow the kiddies to watch.
Food for the Stars
In keeping with the concert party theme, serve food that you would typically find in concerts, backstage and stadiums, such as:
- Hamburgers and cheeseburgers
- Hotdogs
- Popcorn
- Fried chicken or chicken fingers
- Spaghetti
- Nachos
- Pizza
- Pretzels
- Fries
- Crackers
- Ice cream
- Mini-sandwiches
- Fruit cups
- Soda
- Fruit juice

Your daughter’s birthday cake can have Hannah Montana’s picture printed on it. You can also have yummy cupcakes in the shape of stars, guitars and microphone served to your guests.
Fun Giveaways
No kid’s party is complete without a rocking goody bag. Here are some suggestions for giveaways to make your party even more memorable.

CD. Burn popular songs sung by Hannah Montana and distribute it to your guests. (Tips on how to create a CD)
Coloring and sticker books. Encourage their other artistic talents by giving them coloring books and sticker books where they can all put their Hannah Montana stickers.
Make it more girly. Instead of the usual party favors of candy and toys, why not include glitter pens, nail polish, lip gloss, body glitter and plastic jewelry to make it more fabulous?
After the party, take a group picture of all your Hannah Montana guests and have them autograph the guest book. Having a Hannah Montana party is a great way for the girls to bond over their favorite superstar and have a chance to be one themselves!
