Pin the Tail on the Donkey Party Game
By Angelo

There are numerous kinds of games that you can choose for your child’s party. One of the most popular ones played today would be the “pin the tail on the donkey” game. If you’ve ever been to a kiddie party, or organized one, then you must be very familiar with this versatile game. All around the world, in any kind of children’s party, pin the tail on the donkey is always included in the party activities.

One reason why pin the tail on the donkey is very popular today is because almost anyone can play it, whatever their age may be. As long as a child is old enough to walk, knows how to handle a tack and won’t put it in his or her mouth, he or she can participate in the game. Adults sometimes play this game, although they often use a different subject other than a donkey.
Another reason why this game is played by many people is because of its versatility. Although the rules stay the same, you can change the object or subject of the game depending on the occasion or the party theme. For example, if it’s a Christmas party, you can pin the star on the Christmas tree instead. If you have a Pokemon birthday theme, you can have pin the tail on Pikachu. As for a Halloween party, pinning the fangs on the vampire would be a fun option.
For your next party, don’t forget to let the kids play pin the tail on the donkey. It might seem like a simple activity, but your kids would definitely have a wonderful time with this fun game.
Don’t know how to play the game? Here’s a video to show you how.

I remember this office party we had, everyone was having a good time until it was this game’s turn. so we had this picture of a donkey without a tail but instead of the donkey’s face, we put in our boss! it was meant to be a joke but he didn’t see it so. it was awkward

ah, one of the classic party games around. I don’t think there’s anyone who doesn’t know how this works, and even now, it still holds against newer party games. Nice article!

I never win in this game! It’s one of my most favorite party games, but ever since I was a child, I always pin the tail far from the donkey’s rear end. I hope my son is better than me though, because I’m including this game in his party next week!
